  • Regulating the nervous system

  • Releasing endorphins

  • Improving blood circulation

gua sha for neck pain

Gua Sha

Gua Sha involves the gentle scraping of the skin with specialized tools to release tension, improve microcirculation, and reduce inflammation. Ideal for neck pain, chronic muscle stiffness, and stress relief. Gua Sha helps your body heal naturally while rejuvenating the skin’s appearance.

  • Increase blood circulation (microcirculation)

  • Reduce inflammation

  • Relieve muscle tension and chronic pain

  • Stimulate the immune system

  • Improve the appearance and quality of the skin

  • Relieve swelling and puffiness

Small red or purplish spots (called petechiae) may appear after the treatment, but subsides within one to two days.

cupping for body pain

Cupping

As the name implies cupping is the practice of placing cups made of various materials on the body and creating a vacuum inside via a flame or pump. This vacuum causes the skin and underlying tissues to be drawn up into the cup.

Cupping helps by drawing blood and nutrition into the affected areas. In this process small capillaries are also broken which creates a “micro-trauma” which then initiates the body’s innate healing response. The marks left by cupping are from this action.

Nutrition and Lifestyle

The food we consume and the routines we follow are fundamental to determining our overall health, ability to fight off disease, and speed of recovery.

Taking from modern research and Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, guidance and suggestions on nutrition,  lifestyle and supplementation will be included.

Exercise & Movement

For the vast majority of human history, movement was a constant—woven seamlessly into our survival, work, play, and daily life. Today, much of our modern discomfort and chronic ailments can be traced directly to our collective sedentary lifestyle.

Physical activity is non-negotiable for human health. In fact, there is arguably no single greater action we can take for our well-being than simply moving more. Research consistently shows that exercise transforms both mind and body; by increasing our activity levels, we drastically lower our risk of developing today’s leading diseases and significantly improve our chances of overcoming them.

No matter where you are on your health journey—or how you’ve felt about fitness in the past—we’re here to help you take that next step. Together, we’ll build your confidence, ensure you feel comfortable, and rewrite your relationship with exercise.
